The Westin Tabor Center, Augusta Room
The Setup...
We typically prefer a simpler look so instead of the overwhelming fabric from chair covers we're bringing in these black Chivari chairs... I love them!
We're going to have an ivory shantung linen with a black satin runner... it looks amazing in person and will hopefully make those red flowers pop!
The Centerpieces...
Here is the picture from our floral & linen mock up...
It's missing the burgundy cymbidium orchids and we're going to fill the vases with red & burgundy petals instead of just red. Also, the flowers on the bottom settled on the drive so they will be filled to the top on our wedding day!
We can't wait to see the final product on the big day!!!

The Window Treatments...
The Augusta Room has beautiful windows so we wanted to showcase them! We'll be moving the crystal birch trees from the ceremony to the reception and placing them in the windows. We're going to consider uplighting them as well to really make a statement!
The Lighting...
We're uplighting the whole room in a beautful amber. It really warms up the space... and everyone looks good in candlelight and amber lighting!

The Photo Booth...
We love the idea of having a photo booth for our guests! We have a rockin' playlist and a fun box of props so it should be a blast! We're going to have them drop a copy of their photos into the box below so we can make our own guestbook... a picture is worth 1,000 words!
The Lounge...
On the other side of our dance floor there is a great little area that we are turning into a lounge. It should be a great place to make a different vibe for guests who aren't dancing up a storm! We love the idea of lighting the whole thing with only red uplighting and candles...
We're going to have ivory & black cocktail tables like the ones below. We're also pinning great vintage brooches to each black sash to give the tables some flair! It's been so fun looking around antique stores for them! We'll also have crystal trees (like the aisle trees at the ceremony) on each table.

The Wish Tree...
Again, as a nod to my nickname, we'll be utilizing Aspen branches in our wish tree. We're pre-printing cards headed with 'Once Upon a Time...', 'You Know You're In Love When...' and 'We Wish You...' then the guests will hang them after writing their notes. After the wedding we'll combine these with the photo booth pictures to make our guestbook!
