Engaged! Aspen, CO

I tend to be a bit nosey so it was hard for Chris to try and keep the engagement a secret. He took me on a 'surprise' trip to Aspen, a nickname I got from my close friend (and our officiant!) Ashley. After being stuck in 100 degree weather in Arizona I, a self professed Christmas junkie, was going through some serious snow withdrawals... Ten minutes after the plane landed there was a snow storm leaving us in the middle of the perfect winter wonderland! He had every day planned out perfectly and on Friday evening picked me up from the St. Regis hotel in a horse drawn carriage. After a gorgeous ride through the city we were dropped off in downtown Aspen where he asked me... clearly I said yes! The next day he drove us back to Denver where he had a surprise birthday/engagement party with all of my friends and family. What a guy!
